Soldering the tab wire to the solar cells can be a hard task if you don’t have soldering experience. I suggest that you practice a bit with damaged solar cell or in another place that you can practice your soldering skills.

Some tips…

• Use a low temperature soldering iron. High temperature soldering irons can damage your cell even if you are good at soldering.
• Practice a bit before you actually start tabbing all the cells. Is better to waist a bit of tabbing wire than damaging solar cells.
• Do this in a well ventilated place. This soldering process produce toxic fumes that you don’t want to inhale. Is highly recommended that you use as respirator mask.
• Patience is key here. Once you get the swing and gain enough experience you will be able to solder the tabbing wire in no time for each solar cells
